Allison Coles is an Ontario based portrait photographer, storyteller, and retoucher known for her dramatic lighting and visual storytelling. By capturing fascinating characters and atmospheres, her work is highlighted through impactful manipulations and composites.
Allison really got into photography and editing at the age of 16 when she received a Sweet 16 balloon from her best friend leading her to create an image of the balloon tied to her waist, lifting her high up into the sky. To create this image, she grabbed her father’s camera, tripod, and remote trigger, took several images and then stitched them together in Photoshop to create one seamless photo. Allison attended Sheridan College for 4 years where she graduated with a Honours Bachelor of Photography and is now freelancing, ready to take on any challenge thrown her way.
